Daenerys I found your dragons. Easter is here, and you all know what that means. GAME OF THRONES! (Were you expecting me to say something about family? Well now we all know where my priorities are.)

In honor of the combined holiday why don’t you sit down and make some eggs that would impress a Targaryen and probably also your Grandma.

IMG_1137Mix 1/2 cup of boiling water with about a tablespoon of white vinegar and 20 drops total of the food dye of your choice.

Me: Where did this come from?
Mom: I think my friend stole it from a church 30 years ago.

Display in your finest chalice, strew some leaves about, make a Game of Thrones meal (and also take a peek at the inspiration for the eggs, a beautiful sketch by Inslee), and enjoy the season premiere!

  1. I have a fabulously appropriate (I suppose being a priest and all, it may be inappropriate that I should distribute it…) crucifixion cartoon I wish I could have sent to you.
