Nerdy Fashion: Supernatural Edition

It’s nearly fall, which means it’s time for fall clothes. Soon we’ll all be swimming in a sea of leather bomber jackets, flannel shirts, cosy sweaters, and so many layers you can’t even bend your arms anymore. Of course, we here at 3 Chic Geeks look to our fandoms to inform our major fashion decisions. We said to ourselves, “Who wears so much plaid flannel it hurts? The Winchesters!”, and lo, we bring you Supernatural inspired fashion perfect for fall.

SPN Inspired Fashion, Unique Geek's Sam inspired look

Coat, Sweater, Shirt, T-Shirt, Backpack, Shoes, Skirt

Head down to the library of your college that you’re definitely going to be happily attending for the next four years with the girl/boy you love so much who is definitely not going to meet with a grisly end soon in this ensemble. Layer up like Sam but keep everything neat by tucking in your shirts to a sweet knee length skirt, and throw on an anorak if things get chilly. Flat ankle booties are practical for running after supernatural beings while still being stylish, and make sure your backpack is big enough to hold your laptop so you can look up what kind of supernatural being you were running after.

Perfect for: School, casual workplace, general research in hotels, being blissfully unaware of what horrors await you.

Supernatural Inspired Fashion, Freak Geek's Dean inspired look

Jacket, Shirt, Rings, Boots, Bag, Lighter, Jeans

Roll up to the bar in this and everyone will know not to mess with you but they’ll definitely want to mess with you (if you know what I’m saying). You, like Dean, are casually the coolest human being in the room wearing some well worn jeans, motorcycle boots, a band tee, and a leather jacket. Spiked rings and a snakehead lighter are practical and stylish accessories that can easily be thrown into your bag along with some holy water, a gun, and a large container of salt.

Perfect for: Barhopping, driving obscenely fast in your classic car, stripping off at the end of the night and loathing yourself.

Coat, Top, Pants, Heels, Bracelet, Clutch

Your boss would approve of this outfit, if only you knew where your boss was, has anyone seen him lately? Cas’ classic trench coat gets a little update with some black detailing, and pulls your outfit together even when you’re at your most disheveled. Your look wouldn’t be complete without your tie, and it’s attached to the shirt so no need to worry about ever being without it. Just throw on some winged heels and grab your clutch and you’re ready to grip someone tight and raise them from perdition.

Perfect for: Work, job interview, formal dinner that definitely doesn’t entail calling a pizza man.

Happy fall everyone!
